21 people arrested as part of the one-night “Operation Marmotte” campaign

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Indiana (WANE) – After several months of covert surveillance and undercover operations by the Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET) 43, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department said several people had been arrested during a night campaign.

Under the leadership of the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office, several law enforcement agencies have teamed up to execute high priority arrest warrants. Operation Groundhog resulted in the incarceration of 21 people in addition to the seizure of narcotics and firearms, according to the police report.

Those arrested include:

  1. Michael Andres Catalan, 22, from Warsaw. Detained for trafficking in marijuana. Catalan has a security deposit of $ 5,250 and a cash deposit.
  2. William Paul Clutter, 41, of North Webster. Detained on two counts of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. Clutter has a $ 10,500 security deposit and a cash bond.
  3. Lowell Kenneth Collins, 54, from Warsaw. Detained for a visit to a Common Nuisance. Collins has a $ 400 cash bond.
  4. Joshua Brant Hawthorne, 40, of Winona Lake. Detained on a charge of visiting a common nuisance. Hawthorne has a $ 400 cash deposit.
  5. Joshua Lee Herr, 40, of Nappanee. Detained on a charge of visiting a common nuisance. Herr has a $ 400 cash deposit.
  6. Nicholas Andrew Irvine, 28, from Warsaw. Detained for possession of methamphetamine. Irvine has a security deposit of $ 10,250 and a cash bond.
  7. Ashly Danielle Johnson, 30, from Warsaw. Detained on a charge of visiting a common nuisance. Johnson has a $ 400 cash bond.
  8. Haleigh Renae Johnson, 28, of Pierceton. Detained on charges of maintaining a common nuisance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia. Johnson has a $ 5,250 bond and a cash bond.
  9. Amanda Joy Justice, 37, from Claypool. Detained on a charge of visiting a common nuisance. Justice has a $ 400 cash bond.
  10. Larry Ellis Konkle, 53, from Warsaw. Detained for possession of methamphetamine. Konkle has a security deposit of $ 5,250 and a cash bond.
  11. Derek Charles Krichbaum, 36, from Warsaw. Inmate on a probation violation charge. Krichbaum has a security deposit of $ 5,250 and a cash bond.
  12. Nicole Rae Pearson, 31, from Warsaw. Detained on a charge of visiting a common nuisance. Pearson has a $ 400 cash bond.
  13. Robert Keith Powell, 30, from Warsaw. Detained for possession of methamphetamine. Powell has a $ 5,250 bond and money.
  14. Cassandra Kay Secor, 31, from Warsaw. Detained for trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and obstructing justice. Secor has a bond of $ 30,500 and a cash bond.
  15. Daniel Byron Slone, Junior, 34, from Warsaw. Detained for possession of methamphetamine. Slone has a security deposit of $ 5,250 and a cash bond.
  16. Christopher Dwight Spangle, 35, from Warsaw. Detained on a charge of visiting a common nuisance. Spangle has a $ 400 cash deposit.
  17. Nicholas Scott Stahl, 30, of Etna Green. Detained on a charge of visiting a common nuisance. Stahl has a $ 400 cash deposit.
  18. Andrew Taylor, 31, of Syracuse. Detained on a charge of visiting a common nuisance. Taylor has a $ 400 cash bond.
  19. Bryan David Trager, 57, from Warsaw. Charged with maintaining a common nuisance. Trager has a security deposit of $ 5,250 and a cash bond.
  20. Kira Margaret Tuttle, 38, from Colombia. Detained on two counts of possession of methamphetamine and manufacturing props. Tuttle has a $ 15,500 security deposit and a cash bond.
  21. Brandon Lee Warren, 42, from Warsaw. Detained on two counts of trafficking in methamphetamine, failure to appear. Warren has a security deposit of $ 41,200 and a cash bond.

NET 43 is a collaborative law enforcement unit, made up of officers from the Warsaw and Winona Lake Police Departments, Indiana State Police, and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, according to The report.
