PARIS, December 06, 2022–(BUSINESS WIRE)–

TotalEnergy (Paris:TTE) (LSE:TTE) (NYSE:TTE):

Since 2020, the TotalEnergies Foundation’s annual call for partners has enabled new associations to present their projects in the field of Education & Inclusion. In September 2022, nine associations were selected as partners. They will receive support and financial support. The Company has allocated a budget of 200 million euros to the TotalEnergies Foundation for the period 2023-2027, with a priority for youth.

Three years after the first call for partners in France, the TotalEnergies Foundation presents the first results:

  • Calls for partners have strengthened the Foundation’s contribution to projects to help young people from disadvantaged neighborhoods and rural areas. The TotalEnergies Foundation has also strengthened its commitment to new particularly vulnerable populations, such as young people leaving child protection services or prison, as well as incarcerated young people.

  • In particular, the TotalEnergies Foundation aims solutions that bring together employment and education, as well as programs that involve parents in the success of their children. The leverage effect of these initiatives increases their impact on young people.

Jacques-Emmanuel Saulnier, Senior Vice President Public Interest and Managing Director of the TotalEnergies Foundation declared: “Across France, we are working with around a hundred partner associations to give young people the means to take charge of their future by focusing on the most vulnerable among them, by promoting equal opportunities and by promoting their autonomy. Each year, the call for partners allows us to identify new initiatives and contribute to the deployment of innovative programs throughout the territory. Our “alliance” approach creates momentum and amplifies the social impact of these projects with young people.

Charles-Benoît Heidsieck, President and Founder of Le Rameau and President of the Education & Inclusion Commission of the TotalEnergies Foundation, said, “We always learn a lot from these calls for partners. The diversity of ways of tackling problems and the capacity of local actors to invent solutions adapted to the needs of the most vulnerable among us are a real source of hope. Each of the laureates, in their own way, invents the educational models of tomorrow.”

The next call for partners will take place in the first quarter of 2023.
