When it comes to STRs, the more unique the better. Instagram-enabled rentals will not only ensure that your home stays booked, but they will also provide free advertising. Airbnb has followed the trend since they have just invested 10 million dollars in absurd style buildings.
There are no hard and fast rules regarding your themes. Damaging another company’s likeness or characters without their consent (Harry Potter or Disney-themed rentals are likely to result in quick cease-and-desist letters) could be a risky move. That hasn’t stopped some owners from trying their luck.

There are no effigies of Jack Sparrow or sprawling bearded ghouls, but renting a room undoubtedly borrows heavily from the vibe of a hit franchise. Harry Potter House – Kissimmee, Florida

Obviously, there’s a lot of room to market a movie-inspired property. Although this 5-bedroom home is marketed to those who visit the “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” at Universal Orlando and uses photos of the theme park on its Airbnb page, there are no official images of Potter. inside the house. We could, however, imagine many of his furniture and artifacts on a Potter film set.
