Our researchers compare prices to find the best deals for Autumn Sun vacation packages across the Mediterranean and staycations in 2022.
The traffic light system is gone, leaving only a no-fly list and a much larger fly list. From October 4 fully vaccinated residents of England and Northern Ireland will not need to take pre-departure testing. At the end of October, England plans to scrap the requirement for second-day PCR tests for people with double bites. While several countries, such as Turkey, have been added to the starting list.
Our researchers have been busy finding the best deals. To make sure they’re good value for money, we’ve checked our offers against building trips on your own and against packages from other companies.
This week, that means you’ll find a seven-night, all-inclusive stay in Rhodes at a four-star hotel for under £450, and another at a five-star hotel in Turkey for £492.
Prefer to wait until next year? With the US reopening, you could treat your little ones to a week in Florida, with flights and hotel totaling £600 pp in May. Or couples can take advantage of a spring deal at a luxurious five-star spa resort that overlooks the ocean in Madeira.

Florida Water Park Hotel near Disney – £604 pp
Families should love the CoCo Key Hotel & Waterpark with plenty to keep everyone entertained — and it’s a bargain for next spring. Travel May 6 from London Gatwick, including checked baggage and coach transfers to and from Florida Airport. Plus, you’ll be just a short drive from Orlando’s theme parks.
Luxury Five Star Madeira – £771 pp
Perched on a picturesque hill, the five-star Pestana Royal All Inclusive Ocean & Spa Resort offers views to die for. It is also near the beach and a few minutes by free shuttle from the city of Funchal.
