The “happiest” tourist destinations in the world

This is a question that has plagued humanity for millennia: what is happiness? Well, a report from a hotel and a package holiday company Club Med believes he has the answer. And that involves cheap beer and spas.

Club Med has published a study that claims to rank the happiest vacation destinations on the planet, and to do so, it has come up with a series of factors that contribute to happy travels. Looking at a number of destinations, Club Med analyzed disparate things like the number of spas, local pollution levels and how much it costs to buy a pint of beer. Other factors included measures of crime and personal safety, the number of outdoor activities and day trips available at a destination, LGBTQ+ friendliness, and a somewhat nebulous.

The head of the Club Med list was bali in Indonesia, thanks to its multitude of spas, wellness centers and outdoor activities. Add in cheap pints, plenty of sunny days and the general feel of paradise, and we’ll admit it’s pretty hard to do not be thrilled in Bali.

Next on the list was Vegaswhich received a high security score, followed by New Orleans and Barcelonaboth of which received top marks for LGBTQ+ inclusivity.
