‘Make sure you have a pint waiting for me sweetie. I love you more than words could ever say, and actions could never show. You are the light in my world and I will keep you with me forever.’

Meanwhile, the court heard that Ms Reed, a Redcar call center worker, had been drinking with her friends in Liverpool on April 29.

The group visited a Wetherspoons at 10.30am, played crazy golf at Junkyard Golf Club and ate at Five Guys before heading back to Dale Street to prepare for their night out.

The women spent the evening at the Alma De Cuba bar on Seel Street before returning to their apartments at 12:30 a.m.

An hour later, Ms. Reed was found dead.

Paying tribute to her friend, hen bride do Lauren Kenny said, “Keep smiling and singing beautiful girl! Until we meet again, you will always hold a special place in my heart.

‘I’m grateful to have met you six and a half years ago! You joined my team and the rest is history!

“I will treasure the memories we made, especially Hen’s Weekend!” But also the memories between the two!’

Ms Reed’s friend Gemma said: ‘Kay, you had the ability to instantly put people at ease. From the moment we met, your bubbly positive personality just radiated and it was an absolute pleasure to be with you.

“I can’t believe how our weekend with so many amazing memories ended the way it did and I’m so sorry. I’m having a hard time understanding what happened and life seems so unfair, but I know you will find your family in paradise.

According to Echo of LiverpoolCoroner Anita Bhardwaj said: “It is more likely than not that the alcohol consumed rendered Kay unconscious. Kay vomited and inhaled stomach acid into his upper respiratory tract, resulting in his death.

“It’s something a lot of people do, go out drinking. This is not unusual and she was clearly very unhappy with the results of what happened. I think that shows how dangerous alcohol can be.
