Actress Morven Christie films new drama Loss and A Return from Line of Duty makers in Glasgow

GlasgowThe Morven Christie born actress was pictured on set of a new drama being filmed in the city.

The 40-year-old, best known for her role as DS Lisa Armstrong on the ITV series The Bay, was filming in the Southside of Glasgow for Loss and A Return.

According to insiders, the show is a “sleek and contemporary crime drama.”

The series is produced by HTM Television Ltd, the company responsible for Line of Duty, starring Martin Compston, and Bodyguard, starring Richard Madden.

Christie, whose partner is Chvrches star Iain Cook, also appeared in Grantchester as Amanda Hopkins.

Meanwhile, a clapper board at the Aytoun Road venue in Pollokshields revealed that Jennie Darnell was directing the series. According to IMDB, his credits include ITV drama Trigger Point and Line of Duty.

A source also told The Glasgow Times that Ozark star Peter Mullan would be involved in the production. Although this has not been confirmed.
