Airbnb for affluent travelers…

European luxury villa specialist says needs of premium clients have been ignored

AMA Selections will launch a new digital platform this month offering what it describes as “a sophisticated Airbnb alternative for affluent travelers.”

The new booking platform will provide a user dashboard, personalized shareable travel itineraries and a digital concierge.

it was developed to disrupt “the dated browsing and booking model that currently dominates the online travel market,” said AMA Selections, a French vacation rental company.

AMA Selections said the new platform will be live in time for an expected record summer season and will meet the changing needs of high-end customers post-pandemic.

Mariek Anselme, co-founder of AMA Selections, said: “While the short-term rental space has evolved rapidly in recent years, the high-end sector has remained largely untouched.

“The luxury vacation rental industry has long sought a more holistic, technology-driven, and reliable user experience that meets the demands of affluent travelers.

“With over 70% of our customers booking additional services for their stay and with a significant share of total spend going towards these services, it is important to provide a seamless and comprehensive solution that goes beyond the rental offer. of conventional villas.

“By combining expert organization, convenient service and proprietary technology, we have redesigned a booking experience tailored to the luxury traveler.”

AMA Selections recently added eight new destinations, including Mykonos, Paros and the French Alps, giving clients access to over 1,000 properties in over 100 destinations across Europe.
