Airbnb now helps renters find apartments to host part-time

Airbnb launched a new program this week that helps people find apartments to host on the part-time service, and when it’s convenient for them.

An “interactive and personalized calculator” takes into consideration options such as accommodation size and expected availability to provide an estimate of what a tenant could earn each month from timeshare accommodation.

This new program harnesses what Airbnb calls “the economic benefits of hosting:”
