With the growing popularity of train travel in Europe, Airbnb has just announced an opportunity to win the train trip of a lifetime.
The hospitality hub has teamed up with Interrail on the rail carrier’s 50th anniversary to deliver an epic European rail journey across five countries.
The trip will last 19 days and will take passengers to discover some of the properties in Airbnb’s new “Historic Homes” category, which includes around 20,000 architectural treasures in France, Spain, Germany, Italy and the UK.

The railway adventurenamed Airbnb Heritage Tour, will offer a group of six friends or family members the unique opportunity to travel through five European countries using Interrail.
For 19 days, winners will stay in spectacular historic homes, including a 19th-century mansion in Englandan elegant castle France and a 400-year-old villa in Tuscany.
“We are thrilled to offer this epic adventure that celebrates the golden age of travel in the 19th century, when there was more time to enjoy adventures with friends and family for longer,” said the regional manager. of Airbnb, Emmanuel Marill, in a press release.
“By combining the best of rail travel with the best of heritage in Europe, we hope travelers will reconnect with history and culture and enjoy travel as it once was.”
How to Apply for the Train Trip of a Lifetime with Airbnb
To enter the contest, you must create an Airbnb account and select five friends aged 18 and over to accompany you on the trip.
You must then go to application form and tell the company about your passion for cultural heritage, your thirst for adventure and why you and your companions would be the ideal winners. You must also be ready to share your adventure with the world.
You can only participate once and entries must be submitted by July 20, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. CET.
