A bakery owner has blasted an ‘entitled’ customer who called a member of staff a ‘w*****’ after refusing a last-minute cake order.
Cake Tin Bakery, based in Blackpool’s Clifton Trade Park, was the subject of an abusive message from a customer after refusing to bake a multi-layered cake at 3.47pm on Saturday afternoon for same-day delivery.
On its website, the bakery states that while it offers same-day delivery, orders for larger items, including naked cakes, should take at least two to seven days.

Write about Facebook, Kelly, the owner and chef Baker said: “So just to say…don’t be like this and think they can order a multi-layered cake at 3.47pm on a Saturday afternoon, expect it is cooked fresh and delivered the same day.
‘Especially without any prior communication. Because honey, this order is going to be cancelled.
‘Don’t write to us then all annoyed because your self-proclaimed a*** didn’t get what he wanted.
‘Do not send us abuse, like the one pictured, after we have sent you the facts, ie no prior communication, the fact that we are not a factory and multi-layered cakes require notice at least 3 days…

Kelly added: “Facts are facts. We are not a factory. We are not preparing a selection of layered cakes/party cakes to have on the counter in hopes that someone MIGHT need a last minute.
‘When we say ‘order before 4 p.m. for the same day’, it means counter stuff. Blondies, brownies, brookies and more.
‘Common sense. It’s not that common!
