As they travel from city to city to cover seasonal fashion shows, many people in the industry are forgoing hotels for more welcoming places. Our own editors have included: we stay in apartments because you often get what you pay for in space, feel more like a local, and can easily stock the kitchen with plenty of food (and wine) when you go. drop stories and no time to go out to dinner.
Lately, apartment rental companies and real estate companies have embarked on the influencer marketing strategy that hotels have been using for some time. Kim Kardashian spent her New York Fashion Week in Spring 2017 at an Airbnb penthouse who rents $ 10,000 a night, even though her husband already owns a fairly posh apartment in Soho. Granted, the stay was free – and even came with its own “glamorous room”. Meanwhile, real estate firm Douglas Elliman has offered Kendall and Kylie Jenner a free NYFW stay in a nine-bedroom, $ 27 million Tribeca penthouse that’s currently on the market. The Jenner having appreciated their own luxurious, comped Airbnb experiences earlier this year as well.
Here, we’ve done some research to find some of the most sought after and extravagant places you can book if you’re in a Fashion Month city. And unlike some Kardashian-Jenner Instagram posts, this one isn’t #sponsored. We just love to look at the posh apartments. From New York and London to Milan and Paris, get ready for some serious real estate cravings.
