[Best of 2022] @KimmiKillZombie’s 10 Best Horror Movies of 2022

Another year of horror movies has passed. As we prepare to ring in 2023, let’s take a look back at the best horror movies 2022 had to offer. We were spoiled fiends this year; featuring terrifying clowns, action-packed dead vampires and cloud-covered UFOs, we got not one but TWO scares from indie horror darling Ti West, Rob Zombie’s return to his monster-loving roots and some real delights of found footage.

ten. pearl + X

Trapped on her family’s secluded farm, Pearl must care for her ailing father under the bitter, overbearing watch of her devout mother. 9. Prey

On the Great Plains in 1719, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled Comanche warrior, sets out to protect her people when an unknown danger threatens them. But the prey she stalks turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal.

7. The Munsters

Lily is a typical 150-year-old vampire in love who searches for the man of her nightmares – until she lays eyes on Herman, a 7-foot-tall green experiment with a heart of gold. It’s love at first shock as these two ghouls drop their fangs into each other in a Transylvanian romance. Unfortunately, all does not go well at the cemetery, as Lily’s father has other plans for his beloved daughter’s future, and they don’t involve her clumsy new beau.

FRESH - Always 1 (2022)

Frustrated by scrolling through dating apps to find herself on lame and tedious dates, Noa tries her luck by giving the awkwardly charming Steve her number after an encounter with the produce section at the grocery store.

Feast on candy corn and get ready for a party in a haunted house filled with aliens, vampires and phantom bums in this hard-to-find footage of an infamous United States East Coast smuggling video operation. 90s. Straight from the archives of Trader Tony’s Tape Dungeon, the “Out There Halloween Mega Tape” has been assembled from the highest quality source materials available and presented as sold via the sale catalog by Trader Tony’s correspondence in the 1990s.
