Three people were stabbed in shocking turmoil days before Christmas.

The nature and extent of the injuries to the two men and a woman in Handsworth, Birmingham, remain unclear. Police, however, confirmed they were called to a disorder in Handsworth, Birmingham, at 3.20am today.

Roads through the city center remain closed as officers investigate the attack. Buses have been diverted accordingly.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We have currently closed an area of ​​Soho Road, Birmingham. The road is closed between Bolton Road and Grove Road, Birmingham.

“A man was arrested in Soho Road after two men and a woman were found with injuries believed to be stab wounds. We were called to Soho Road at around 3.20am.

“The road will be closed this morning while officers establish the circumstances of what happened. We will provide further details in due course. Commuters and transport companies are advised to make alternate arrangements to navigate Soho Road.”
