Blackpool Police are appealing for the missing 19-year-old ‘baby’ girl who has not been seen since Thursday
- Melanie Harvey, 19, disappeared while traveling in Blackpool, Lancashire, on Thursday
- Miss Harvey, from Preston, reportedly has no money and is without her phone
- Her mum Katie posted online: ‘I can’t begin to explain the hell I’m in right now’
- Police have now issued an appeal asking members of the public for information
A mother has made a desperate plea for information after her 19-year-old daughter vanished without a trace three days ago.
Melanie Harvey, 19, disappeared around 1pm on Thursday June 30 in Preston, Lancashire, but is believed to have traveled to Blackpool.
Since then, she has not been seen again and her family is increasingly worried about her well-being.
Her mother Katie Harvey posted online: “I’m going crazy!” She’s not with anyone she knows, [she] has no money and no phone!

“Melanie knows I would pay for a taxi to get her back to Preston and if she was with someone she would have contacted me or Jessica on their phone.
“She only has one other friend in Blackpool and he’s not with her either.
“She has no reason not to come home!” Imagine if that was your daughter, I can’t begin to explain the hell I’m in right now.
Miss Harvey is described as 5ft 3in, petite with jet black hair and blue eyes.
She was last seen wearing black leggings, a white top and white and orange Nike Air Force sneakers.
