Breezeway Raises $15M in Series B Funding Round

WE: Property management and guest experience platformBreezeway, announced that it has raised $15 million in Series B funding to accelerate its growth.

The tour was led by growth capital company Catalyst Investors, with participation from existing investor Schooner Capital.

Founded in 2017 by CEO Jeremy Gall, who previously founded online vacation rental marketplace FlipKey, Breezeway aims to help thousands of rental hosts and hospitality managers in over 65 countries automate operations, to improve the quality and improve the experience in every property. Breezeway software and mobile apps have facilitated over 18 million real estate service tasks to date, helping operators deliver over 55 million room nights booked in homes prepared to their specific standards.

The company’s platform aims to empower hosts and managers to deliver a high-quality guest experience. The company will use this new funding to continue investing in its operations management tools and customer experience platform.

Gall said, “It’s challenging to provide the type of detailed property preparation and service that guests have come to expect. Hospitality managers and hosts are overwhelmed with operational tasks, from scheduling work and coordinating services across multiple sites and single properties, to monitoring guest needs, tracking preventative maintenance, and compliance with hospitality standards.

“With the support of Catalyst, we will continue to invest in our platform to make it easier for hosts and managers to solve these operational complexities and exceed customer expectations,” he added.

Grady Kidder of Catalyst Investors, who will join Breezeway’s Board of Directors, said, “With an increasing emphasis on quality, the hospitality manager who places an emphasis on service and ownership experience will get a competitive edge. Breezeway is the market leader in property management software, and we look forward to working with Jeremy and his team to continue expanding their reach both internationally and into other hospitality verticals.
