Car Pro test drives 2022 Ford Maverick pickup
thursday the Sunrise LBK with Dave King and Tom Collins, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Tom to talk about his weekly test drive, changes to cars in the industry over time, and other auto industry news.
This week, The Car Pro took the test drive of the Ford Maverick 2022 pickup truck, a brand that was a car when it debuted in the ’70s but has since evolved into a compact pickup truck. Jerry began by saying that he had enjoyed driving this car all week and was delighted to compare it to the Hyundai Santa Cruz he tested several weeks ago. By comparing them, he found that they were actually quite different. The new Maverick is more of a pickup truck than the Santa Cruz, both in its drive and handling. This model has a 4.5 foot bed, which Jerry said actually felt bigger than expected, a nice interior with cloth seats, 4 wheel drive, 4 doors, a 4 cylinder eco boost engine that develops 250 4,000 lb. horsepower and trailer, and it gets 22 miles per gallon in the city and 29 on the highway. The 2022 Ford Maverick pickup has a window sticker price of $ 31,910, which is significantly lower than the average for this type of truck at $ 40,000.
The Car Pro also spoke about other auto industry stories, including on their website. carprousa.com. On its website you can find the story of a List of 15 cars that cost more used than new where Jerry explains how auction prices remain high with no end in sight, despite the diminishing token shortage.
