Courteney Cox shows fans how ‘real’ New Yorkers eat pizza in Instagram clip

Well, that’s definitely one way to do it.

Courtney Cox gives social media users a step by step tutorial on how to eat pizza there “New York way.”

The 58-year-old actress is full of shenanigans in her latest Instagram video. In the clip, cox showed how eat pizza the “right” way when you’re from the Big Apple.

“A lot of people who aren’t from New York come the cityand they can’t wait to have New York-style pizza, and they don’t know how to eat it,” Cox said before showing off the right way to devour a slice of the cheesy goodness.

“So first what you do is dab it. Take all the oil out, and then New Yorkers, they like to cut the butt off, and they just take a little bite at a time,” said she said, cutting the pizza with a plastic fork and knife.

Cox continued, “If you’re like Sicily or whatever – roll it like a ‘pizza pie,'” she joked just before rolling the pizza from the bottom to the top of the crust.

“You do it like that, though, don’t you?” Cox asked the people sitting next to her, to which they replied “yes”, going along with her mischievousness.

“Sometimes people crave double cheese, so you move all the cheese into one area and then you can give it to someone,” Cox said before handing part of his slice to the same group.

Many fans responded to the comments and expressed how they really felt about Cox eating the pizza like this.

β€œI am Italian and this is not acceptable!!!πŸ€¦πŸ˜‚β€ commented one fan.

“As a NY native, I’ve never been so offended. πŸ—½πŸ•πŸ˜‚πŸ˜³,” another fan joked.

β€œAll these tourists are gonna look really weird if they do this 🀣🀣🀣,” someone else wrote.

β€œSomewhere my Italian ancestors are turning in their gravesπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚,” another user joked.

Of course, we certainly hope that Cox knows the right way to eat a piece of pizza, and that’s simply by leaving the grease on and curving the edges of the crust towards each other to “bend” the slice before taking a bite.
