Greg Gutfeld fans outraged as show stays off the air and Fox News speaks out on cancellation rumor

GREG Gutfeld fans have expressed outrage as Gutfeld’s show is still not airing.

“Gutfield! will not air tonight due to breaking news,” Gutfeld wrote on Twitter. “For the latest news, stay tuned to @foxnewsnight.”

Replies under the tweet were filled with fans upset the host wasn’t back on the air.

“When is this madness going to end?” wrote one user.

“God, how I miss my favorite show!!! I need some comic relief in my life. We all do.” says another.

The host explained that the show would skip its normal broadcasts to allow more time for coverage of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Greg’s mother-in-law was able to evacuate Ukraine to Poland and find her daughter in Warsaw.

During a segment on The Five, he played a clip of the tearful reunion between his wife, Elena Gutfeld, and her mother, outside the Renaissance Hotel in Warsaw, telling her mother in Russian: “Thank God”.

Greg explained how his Fox colleagues who were reporting from Ukraine were helping his mother-in-law escape the country to safety.

He later said his escape was complete thanks to his colleagues, calling them “incredibly brilliant” and “heroes”.

Greg told Fox correspondent Lucas Tomlinson, who reports from Ukraine, that he thought his mother-in-law was staying at the same hotel in Lviv and asked Tomlinson to give her his best.

A Fox News spokesperson told The Sun on March 8 that Gutfeld! has not been cancelled.

However, fans are still upset and expressed their opinions on Twitter.

One fan tweeted, “What the hell is this? America needs your view on the world!! MLB is on strike, WWIII is breaking out, gas is $5 /gallon.”

Another viewer added, “Uh…i really miss my late night laughs…there’s only so much depressing news and constant repeat coverage we can handle.”

As of now, no date has been set for the return of the show.
