Halo Top offers free ice cream in Miami

Halo Top has amassed a cult following with its wide range of low-calorie, keto-friendly frozen treats that actually taste mean, almost. Alongside the dreaded end of daylight saving time (November 6), the titular purveyor of guilt-free frozen treats wants to help you “lighten up” your mood in the best way it knows how: free ice cream.

Until the powers that be come to their senses and finally usher in an era of permanent daylight saving time, we the perpetually confused masses will continue to Google “what does fallback mean” and endure mornings that look like at night and depressing sunsets at 5 p.m. We really deserve that free ice cream, guys.

From Friday, November 11 through Saturday, November 12, keep an eye out for Halo Top’s light-up powder blue and pink trucks, which will be parked around Miami to satisfy your evening and late-night stress cravings. Check the exact locations and times if you prefer not to take any risks:

  • 1020 Alton Rd, Miami Beach (Nov. 11, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.)
  • 210 NW 22nd Street (Nov. 11, 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.)
  • 261 NW 26th Street (Nov. 12, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.)
  • 176 NW 24th Street (Nov. 12, 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.)

If you can’t make it to a truck, Halo Top is also running a contest to help one winner fight the darkness by sending them to a very sunny location: Rio de Janeiro. Head to the official site walk in.
