Harry Potter Fan Shares Order of the Phoenix Mistake She Hasn’t Noticed in 15 Years

A woman has gone viral on social media after reporting a bizarre mistake on the cover of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix DVD she just noticed after 15 years

Notice anything weird about this poster?

It’s been 15 years since Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix came out and it turns out we’ve all been missing something.

Or at least we did if a recent TikTok video is to be believed.

A social media user who posts under the name @missbeifong went viral after reporting an error she recently noticed in promotional images for the fifth film in the Harry Potter franchise.

The 21-year-old American, named Syd, said she had been shopping for vinyl records with her sister when they came across the Order of the Phoenix soundtrack.

The couple were admiring the vinyl when they realized something was wrong with the image of Ginny Weasley on the cover.

She explained in the clip: “I haven’t seen anyone talk about it, my sister was buying vinyl and she saw the soundtrack of Harry Potter in the Order of the Phoenix and she looks at the cover and she says, oh my god who is this?

“And my cousin is like oh it’s Ginny and my sister is like no it’s not.

“It’s literally not Bonnie Wright, it’s just a random kid.

“So my sister is going to get our old DVD copy of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix…same picture.

“What happened? Was Bonnie Wright just like sick on picture day and they’re like let’s just throw this random girl out and see if anyone notices?

“Well, she noticed. We noticed.”

The clip went viral, garnering over 3.3 million views and over 426,000 likes.

Thousands of people also shared their thoughts on the video, with one person joking, “Bonnie Wrong.”

“It’s not Ginny, it’s Jenny,” replied for a second.

Someone else said: “It’s not Bonnie Wright, they talk about it during the Harry Potter Studio Tour in London. They used a replacement for the poster and then forgot to exchange it during their exit.”

Another user added, “It’s her stunt double. On the day of this shoot, Bonnie couldn’t go, so they used her stunt double to see what it looked like, but that didn’t change. “
