“I’ve already booked an Airbnb and a hotel for a trip to Merida and Cancun in March and April, but I haven’t booked any flights yet. This is a spring break trip with my mother (she is a teacher). We plan to fly from New York to Cancun and then rent a car to Merida the first week of our trip. Then we’ll fly back to Cancun, stay at a resort for another week, and fly home from there so we can book a round-trip flight. — Sophie Shaw, Associate Beauty Editor

“My partner and I love the American West, and we plan to visit all 63 National parks in our life (we are 15 so far), so after a quick stop in Albuquerque and visit family in California, we’ll see Zion National Park in Utah and Moab on the way back to Colorado. We were originally going to book through Airbnb, but I accrued points with my Chase Sapphire Preferred Card — enough to pay for three of our five hotel nights, including Crowne Plaza Albuquerque and SpringHill Suites Moab.” — Kai Burkhardt, Deputy Editor

“I start 2023 with a holidays! Two of my close friends are getting married in Hawaii right after New Years, so I’ll be there for five days celebrating with them and enjoying the warm weather and beach time. I used points from my Reserve Chase Sapphire to buy a round-trip plane ticket on Hawaiian airlinesand I will stay in an Airbnb, which turned out to be much cheaper than a hotel.” —Chelsea Stone, Editor-in-Chief

“My partner and I have been talking about a trip to Scotland for over a year, and we hope to finally make it a reality in 2023. Although we generally avoid traveling during the high summer season, we really want to experience of the Highland Games, which run from July to August. Last year I switched to the Favorite Chase Sapphire card only to accumulate points to go towards this holiday – in particular to redeem coveted business class seats for the trip. The jury is still out on exactly when we’ll be visiting, but at least I know the longer we wait, the more points we’ll rack up.” — Lindsey Smith, Associate Editor

“A winter break in Tallinn has been on my to-do list for a while. Pictures of sound Old City square covered in snow looks like something out of a fairy tale. The city is known for perfectly balancing its ancient medieval history with modern touches. After a few days in Tallinn, I plan to do the trek west of the city to Padaste Manor, a coastal hotel, part of which dates back to the 14th century. Moreover, he is a member of the World of Hyatt programwhich means you can redeem Hyatt points for a free stay.” — Emily McNutt, Travel Editor

“Next year I’m going on my first cruise in three years and I can’t wait! We are sailing with Carnival for a four day, three night Bahamas cruise. We travel on the Freedom Carnival and booking was a breeze. Luckily the cruise line allows you to have a courtesy wait for a few days (which gave us time to get our parts together). I’m so excited to be back to sail the seas and relax all day!” — Sarai Thompson, Social Coordinator

“I love being able to jump in the car and easily get away on the weekends. So, I was excited to know that Lodge of the scribes, which has been a staple boutique hotel in Hunter, New York since the 1960s, will add a new collection of 12 private lodges to its property in the spring of 2023. About three hours from our home in Brooklyn, not only can we book a room to ski and snowboard near Hunter Mountain, but my family of four can come back when the weather is good to hike, sit by the pool and have local food and cocktails at the restaurant on square, Perspective. The new lodges come in single or suite form, and each promises its own common space with a lounge, fireplace, and bar. — Tobey Grumet, reviews editor

“In June, I’m going to Paris for my boyfriend’s business school graduation. We plan to make quite a trip out of it. We’ll probably fly from NYC to Portugal, stay for about five days, and then fly to Paris from there. We’re lucky to have friends who have accommodations in both places, so we’ll just have to find flights. We also took spontaneous train trips from Paris to Lyons, Marseilles and amsterdamso it is likely that we will take advantage of other travel opportunities during our stay.” — Sophie Shaw, Associate Beauty Editor

“In 2023, I would like to finally visit Dublin to Flowering day, an annual event celebrating the life of author James Joyce and his novel “Ulysses”. It’s been on my bucket list ever since I read the book, and I’ve heard nothing but good things about Dublin in general. —Daniel Toy, Editor-in-Chief

“It’s been too long since I’ve been to Los Angeles, and I plan to return in the spring of 2023 – not just to see my family and eat too many burritos in Redondo Beachbut also to experience my very first WWE Wrestlemania weekend (yes, I’m a big nerd). — Michael Andronico, Senior Technical Writer

“I’m heading towards Tuscany for a wedding in May, and I can’t wait for the opportunity to see the countryside in addition to partying! Then I will spend a few days Florencewhere I have already booked an Airbnb (with a rooftop!). Chase the Ultimate Rewards covered my return flights to Florence, and I will look into whether they can also cover a rental car as my departure date gets closer.” —Chelsea Stone, Editor-in-Chief

“This small European capital has been on my radar for a few years, and in 2023 I would like to make a trip there a reality. Many of its roads are pedestrianized and it is known for its green spaces and the beautiful Ljubljanica River which winds its way through the city. Oh, and don’t forget the food. Best of all, Ljubljana is relatively easy to reach from other European cities, such as London, Barcelona and Rome. The city has a good selection of accommodations, but I look at the Boutique Hotel Zlata Ladjica for its stunning architecture, warm atmosphere and central location.” — Emily McNutt, Travel Editor
