They are even a very popular way of life. HGTV even has an entire series on container houses. I can’t even imagine the work it takes to turn a giant container into any type of living space. When you factor in adding electricity, water, and creating living spaces, it seems like a huge challenge. The perfect couples getaway
My friend Hope (from the P’ton era) and her husband recently stayed in a shipping container for a birthday party. I can’t even commit to a cabin, let alone a house made out of a shipping container. I’m more of an all inclusive hotel type girl. However, seeing Hope’s glowing review of their stay might sway me.

Here is a glimpse of the interior of this cozy place. It’s in Hurricane, West Virginia, and rents are around $135 a night. They had a great time, and I’m just a little embarrassed by the time. We haven’t traveled for quite a while. Am I going to make sure my husband sees this – Yes.
