The horror thriller Barbaric may not be on everyone’s radar, but fans should definitely know that it was called the WTF Movie of the Year by /Film. But can Netflix subscribers participate in this horrifying film?
The story of this nightmarish feature follows a woman named Tess who books an Airbnb for the night before a crucial job interview. But when she arrives, a strange man is already staying there and it looks like the residence has been double-booked. Despite feeling uneasy about the disturbing situation, she reluctantly decides to stay for the night and soon realizes that the mysterious individual is the least of her worries.
The cast for Barbarian is full of reliable talent, including Suspicion stars Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgård of clarkand F is for family regular Justin Long. Matthew Patrick Davis, Richard Brake, Kurt Braunohler and Jaymes Butler are also in the game. Behind the camera, the film was written and directed by Zach Cregger.
The film premiered at San Diego Comic-Con on July 22, 2022, where it received rave reviews, and Barbaric is sure to be a terrifying affair that fans of the genre won’t want to miss.
Is Barbarian available on Netflix?
So many great titles are heading to the streamer, and it’s hard to keep track of all the options readily available. But when it comes to Barbaric, fans should know that the movie is not available on Netflix. Instead, the movie will head to HBO first after it hits theaters.
It’s by no means ideal that the members can’t be terrified of the scary movie, but that’s not the end of the world. There are several outstanding horror titles ready for subscribers to watch right now, including Choose or Die, Bird Box, #Alive, and Blood red sky, Just to name a few.
