JCDecaux renews and extends its advertising concession with Singapore Changi Airport for the second consecutive time

Paris, January 12e2023JCDecaux SE (Euronext Paris: DEC), the world leader in outdoor advertising, announces the renewal of its advertising concession with Singapore Changi airport for 7 years, from 2023 to 2029, with a 5-year extension option until 2034. This is from 3rd contract since the start of the concession in 2011, in a partnership that will span more than 20 years.

One of the most awarded airports with over 650 awards to date, including the prestigious Skytrax Best Airport award (11 times winner), Changi Airport is not just an airport, but a tourist destination with carefully selected shopping, dining and entertainment options. It offers passengers unparalleled experiences in contemporary terminals inspired by lush nature and strong global connectivity to more than 120 destinations worldwide.

As air travel rebounds, the expanded partnership will leverage growing industry trends to curate data-driven, brand-building media offerings with the ability to target, optimize and create powerful audience connections through to contextually relevant advertising.

JCDecaux will continue to enhance Changi Airport’s advertising experience through increased digitalization, innovative data-driven solutions that enable campaign optimization and audience measurement, as well as offering drive-to-store or website measurement to deliver greater value to brands. Programmatic adoption ensures Changi Airport’s digital media is included in brands’ omnichannel strategies, enabling it to tap into the global online media market.

Through thoughtful design and placement of advertising media, JCDecaux aims to provide passengers with an enhanced audience experience through creative optimization, displaying the right advertising message in the right place at the right time.

In line with the ESG pillars of both companies, sustainability and safety will be strong points of the concession, with JCDecaux’s bizSAFE STAR and ISO 45001:2018 safety certifications for its operations in Singapore and clear objectives for green energy, recyclable materials and electronic waste management.
