Joelinton practically took his shorts off as Newcastle fans rage over Mike Dean

Newcastle United fans fumed at Mike Dean after Joelinton had his shorts practically pulled down by Raphinha.

When Rodrigo’s cross aimed for him, the Brazilian gave Leeds United the lead. He managed to overtake Karl Darlow and enter the Newcastle goal.

Joelinton was on the break and Joelinton was on the attack. Joelinton took an ingenious move to counterattack.

Raphinha grabbed Raphinha’s short back to stop her compatriot from passing him.

Newcastle fans remain puzzled as to why Mike Dean did not issue a yellow warning for the challenge.

“Mike Dean is such a weird referee who delivers Ritchie then doesn’t deliver Raphinha for taking Joelinton’s shorts off,” one fan tweeted.

Another added: ‘So also Mike Dean was wrong not to warn in the 17th minute for a blatant pull on the Newcastle player’s shorts?

“Mike Dean has one of his shocks too. Three yellow card fouls, but only recovers Newcastle’s one. Good to rip Joelinton’s shorts off apparently,” fumed a third.

But another saw the funny side of the incident: “Can we appreciate the stretch factor of the Newcastle shorts.”
