Lawton’s “Freedom Festival”, Fort Sill returns in 2022!

The 2022 Lawton, Fort Sill “Freedom Day” has been announced! This year it will be a 2 day Independence Day celebration at Elmer Thomas Park 501 NW Ferris Ave. on friday july 1st and Saturday July 2 (04-01-22 & 04-02-22). It’s going to be an all-American, red, white and blue, star-studded good time guaranteed!

Here’s the best part IT’S FREE! That’s right, it’s completely free, there’s no charge to enter or park, just step out and enjoy two full days of 4th of July activities at the park. Complete with food trucks, vendors, bouncy houses, zip line, fun family games, street performers, the “Let Freedom Ring” parade, live music, and of course it wouldn’t be the fourth without FIREWORKS! Get ready to celebrate your independence with a BANG!

The fireworks at Lawton, Fort Sill’s “Freedom Day” will be one of the greatest in Southwest Oklahoma and choreographed to music! Looking forward to this and the concerts planned for Saturday (04-02-22). We will see the Band of the 77th Army live and Emilie Faith will headline the Amphitheater Stage that night.
