Man beaten and robbed in Nashville Airbnb | News

NASHVILLE (WSMV) – A Florida man visiting Nashville in December said he was beaten and robbed after he shared his Airbnb address at a downtown bar.

According to an arrest warrant, the victim contacted the police around 2 a.m. on December 13 after two people showed up to rob and beat him.

One of the two suspects was later identified as 19-year-old Jabauri M. Perry. The other suspect has not been arrested at the time of this story.

The victim told police the suspects showed up at the Airbnb, pulled a knife on him, punched him in the face with a bottle and threw him to the ground.

While on the ground, the victim said the suspects urinated and poured alcoholic beverages on him.

Meanwhile, the two suspects were overheard by the victim plotting whether or not to kill him, and at one point tried to knock the victim off the balcony.

The suspects eventually left the scene with the victim’s wallet, cash, driver’s license, iPhone 11 Pro, and car.

After speaking with the police again, the victim was able to hand over new information, including an Instagram page connected to the second possible suspect’s stolen phone.

On the day of the theft, there was also an Amazon purchase through the victim’s account for a pair of shoes which was also sent to the second possible suspect.

The stolen iPhone was then taken to an ECOATM at Walmart where the phone was sold.

Perry and the second possible suspect were photographed together by the machine at the time of the deposition.

Jabauri M. Perry has been charged with aggravated robbery with a weapon.
