NBC recently premiered a new series focusing on the search for love. NBC The Courtship stars of the series Nicole Remya newcomer to reality TV. According to NBC, The Courtship is “a dating show that’s the ultimate social experience”. Set in the year 2022, it’s a journey through time to a Regency-style England in a castle, where suitors compete for the heart of fairground heroine Nicole Remy. What puts a spin on the series is that Remy’s family helps him decide which suitor would be best for him to date, which was customary in the 19th century, according to The daily beast.
It’s one of the few reality shows where the lead role is black and half of the contenders are men of color, so this show is already off to a good start.
