Miami Music Week is back and in full swing for Spring Break 2022. Even though the last two years of live event coordination have been turned upside down by a global pandemic, South Florida’s event life is alive and ready to make up for lost time. under the tropical sun. But once you step out of the airport and settle into your Airbnb, you may be asking yourself or your team, “Which shows are worth seeing?”
Hopefully this guide to what’s happening during Miami Music Week 2022 will give you a clear idea of what to aim for and who to see. Even if you go to the Ultra Music Festival all weekend, there are plenty of after parties, pool parties and boat shows that you might want to have on your party radar.
Here are some of the must-see events of Miami Music Week 2022:
Wednesday
Sessions in the cat house
Location: La Otra Wynwood
Price: $25 or more
Reason To Go: It can sometimes be a little difficult to navigate between the different shows and the type of house music they might be playing. During the Cat House Sessions, the Brazilian duo Cat Dealers will organize the electro house energy with the help of Henry Fong, Moguai and many others. For more information, see this article.
E11EVEN: Benny Benassi, Dada Life and Markus Schulz
Location: E11EVEN Miami (Downtown Miami)
Price: $30 and up
Reason To Go: If you had a day to go wild during Miami Music Week and it had to be a Wednesday, E11EVEN is the place to go. The nightclub/strip club is one of Miami’s most unique nightlife spots and they team up with main stage legends Benny Benassi, Dada Life and Markus Schulz. If it’s good enough for the Jersey Shore cast to party when they arrive in the 305, then it should cut it for you and your crew.
RVDIOVCTIVE (Miami Music Week 2022)
Location: 1-800 Lucky (Wynwood)
Price: Free
Reason To Go: This is a solid lineup of house and disco hitters. From veterans like Skream and Felix Da Housecat to recent stars like Tara Brooks and QRTR, you can rock to the beat while grabbing the best low-key Asian cuisine in South Florida.
Seth Troxler and Johnny Rock @ the Floyd
Location: The Floyd (Downtown Miami)
Price: $60 and up
Reason to go: If you’re looking for a more intimate show in the same neighborhood, Seth Troxler and Johnny Rock at Floyd can handle it. You can expect an eclectic collection of house music from one of the genre’s most revered artists.
Thursday
Black coffee @ LIV
Location: LIV (Miami Beach)
Price: $75 and up
Reason to go: If you’re looking to hang out where Miami’s elite go to hang out and pop bottles, go to Miami Beach and head to the Hotel Fontainebleau. There, LIV Nightclub will host a solo performance by Black Coffee. His witty house music is so punchy and unique that it deserves to be seen in one of the city’s most opulent venues.
Chemisty presents: Eric Prydz, Macro Plex, Innellea (live), Cristoph
Location: RC Cola Factory (Wynwood)
Price: SOLD
Reason To Go: It’s a general rule that if Eric Prydz is the headliner of a show, you should make some sort of plan to be on that show. It also helps that he has support sets from such a cream of talent.
Circo Loco Miami
Location: Mana Wynwood
Price: $70 and up
Reason To Go: Rockstar Games’ music label, from the video game industry, launches its own showcase with a delicious selection of house music heavyweights. Palm Trax, Bedouin, Damian Lazarus and DJ Tennis vs Carlita bring the same kind of electronic heat that inspires
Improved Miami

Reason to go: If you’re looking for progressive house or trance, stop here. Tritonal headline a substantial lineup of artists who create uplifting and impactful tracks. Joining them are the trance duo Gabriel & Dresden as well as Jaytech, Farius and many others.
Malaa and the enemies
Location: to be determined
Price: SOLD
Reason to go: I got my ticket for this show since it was announced. Malaa’s Miami Music Week parties are always the talk of the town. This one should be no different as it calls on tech house brothers Black V Neck and bass house staple Habstrakt. There’s also a setting for the legendary Kaskade, making one of the many stops he has for MMW.
Showcase Ophelia
Location: MAPS Backlot (Wynwood)
Price: $45 and up
Reason To Go: Very few artists sound and perform like Seven Lions. Since launching Ophelia Records, the label needed to provide a proper showcase to flex its diverse roster. Artists like Kill The Noise, Trivecta, Dimibo, Last Heroes and more are on board to bridge the gap between dubstep, psytrance and everything in between.
Friday
Brownies & Lemonade
Venue: Soho Studios (Wynwood)
Price: $50 and up
Reason to go: B&L always packs the names people want to see. This time around, Louis the Child is leading the event with support from Yung Bae and Whethan. There are also exclusive back-to-back performances that may never happen again. We’re talking Whipped Cream b2b Devault, Leotrix b2b Wavedash, and Habstrakt b2b an artist yet to be revealed, all of which are going to be pretty heavy. This show is sure to fill your house, drum and bass, trap, future bass and more needs.
Deep State + UV
Location: Treehouse (Miami Beach)
Price: $30 and up
Reason To Go: This is a stacked lineup of some big names in trance. Stars like Fehrplay, veterans like Jerome Isma Ae and fan favorites like Grum, this is the show to see if you want to be drenched in trance and progressive house.

Location: Mana Wynwood
Price: $55+
Reason To Go: There are a lot of names on this range that you don’t see anywhere else. Techno and house reign supreme at this show. Dixon, Tale of Us and WHOMADEWHO are just a few of the acts you can catch on this after-hours show.
On the knee in Miami
Location: Le Musette
Price: $55+
Reason to go: If cruising Miami waters with Hot Since 82 isn’t your idea of a good time, then I don’t know what to tell you. I will say if you are going to see this show, you don’t want to be late…
NGHTMRE & Cuckoo
Location: MAPS Backlot (Wynwood)
Price: $35 and up
Reason To Go: This show is only worth performing for heavy bass music needs. NGHTMRE and Peekaboo join forces and present the first acts of the industry. This includes Nitepunk, RIOT, Saka and Space Laces for a full evening of eardrum-busting fun.
Saturday
Outdoor Anjunadeep
Location: MAPS Backlot (Wynwood)
Price: $55+
Reason to go: If you’re looking for some quiet house music that can take you on a melodic journey, stop by the Anjunadeep family. The label’s roster is showing up in full force with Hotto, Luttrell, Tinlicker, Hana and many more taking the decks from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Cosmic Gate Sunset Cruise
Location: South Beach Lady
Price: $170 and up
Reason to go: If you really want to have a blast during your stay in South Florida, why not choose this event? Trance titans Cosmic Gate are once again hosting one of the most exclusive excursions to be found during Miami Music Week. If you can do that, then all aboard will be gently cruising towards the Miami skyline with a stunning sunset for sure.
Elrow heads to Miami Music Week
Location: to be determined
Price: $60 and up
Reason To Go: I can’t really describe what’s going to happen here because I don’t want to spoil what can be expected at an Elrow show. If you can, go find out.
Green Velvet Presents: La La Land
Location: National Hotel (Miami Beach)
Price: $80 and up
Reason To Go: Green Velvet makes a point of enlisting the most groovy DJs for its La La Land events. This one is no different. We have Shiba San in the building, Justin Martin on the decks, and Gene Farris jumping in the pool. They will all join Rebūke, Moon Boots, Nasser Baker and many more from noon until early evening.
Life Yacht Aquatic Cruise
Location: Le Musette
Price: $60 and up
Reason To Go: Another chance to take a slow boat ride through Miami’s scenic coastline. The only difference is that this time your captain is Justin Martin and his crew includes Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and DJ Minx. What’s not to like?
Made in Miami: 10th Anniversary
Location: SLS Brickell (Downtown Miami)
Price: $35 and up
Reason To Go: If you want Miami’s most authentic house music experience, your next stop has to be with Oscar G and his friends. Danny Tenaglia and a treasure trove of house DJs will fill the afternoon with the epitome of Miami pool party vibes.
Yung Bae and his friends
Location: Freehold Miami
Price: $25 or more
Reason To Go: Yung Bae has always surprised the world with his innovative touch of four-on-the-floor music. But Bae-man will subvert those expectations with his versatile roster of DJ buddies. You can expect to see Dombresky, Young Franco, Devault, Autograf and many more who will create an impeccable ambiance.
Sunday
Showcase of black books
Location: Space Park
Price: $20 and up
Reason to go: Ooooh… That should be a good one. Chris Lake takes his team to one of the city’s most iconic clubbing spots. Man, even Armand Van Helden is going to be there. It’s just one of the best ways to end their time at Miami Music Week.
Fool’s Gold Presents: A-Trak and Friends
Location: Oasis Wynwood
Price: Free
Reason to go: If it’s free, it’s for you and me. A-Trak brings performances from its own Duck Sauce and the Brothers Macklovitch projects as well as an arsenal of funky DJs and producers from around the country. On board we see sets from Mike Dunn, Soul Clap, Carl Craig, Junior Sanchez and many more.
Thrive X Proximity Miami
Location: Hyde Beach (Miami Beach)
Price: $100 or more
Reason To Go: What if, under unfortunate circumstances, you missed most of MMW 22? Thrive X Proximity has the equivalent of a miniature music festival right on the beach. Galantis and SIDEPIECE may sandwich this lineup, but in this list you have Fedde Le Grand, Moore Kismet, Sidepiece, Nostalgix, Dillon Nathaniel and many more. Plus a special guest you won’t want to miss.
