Jaybird’s study researched all 50 states and their prices for the month of July, when most families tend to go on vacation since kids are out of school during that time.

The top 3 states for expensive Airbnb listings were from California, Alaska, and Massachusetts.

• California – The Estate’s Villa in Yountville is $15,000 a night.
• Alaska – A 95ft VIP yacht in Juneau is $34,000 for 3 nights.
• Massachusetts – Oyster Pond in Edgartown has a hot tub, movie theater, and tennis court costs $10,000 a night.
