The That ’70s Show co-stars and married duo thanked donors Thursday in a video update announcing they had surpassed their $30 million goal to benefit victims of the ongoing Russian invasion of the former Soviet nation, which began on February 24.

“We have reached our goal!” Kunis said in the video. “Over 65,000 of you have donated. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the support. And while this is far from a solution to the problem, our collective effort will provide a soft landing for so many so may they move forward into their uncertain future.”

“Our work is not done,” Kutcher added. “We will do everything we can to ensure that the outpouring of love that has come from all of you through this campaign finds maximum impact with those in need.

“As the funding continues to roll in, we will treat every dollar as if it were an out-of-pocket donation: with respect and honor for the work that went into earning it, with the intention of love through which it was given and the desire for it to be maximized for a positive outcome for others.”

Kunis, who was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, and whose family immigrated to the United States in 1991 — and her husband started the Fundraising Stand With Ukraine on March 3 with plans to match up to $3 million in donations. They lamented Russia’s “unjust attack” on the European nation and “humanity as a whole”. She said at the time that their philanthropic work was meant to have “an immediate impact on refugee and humanitarian relief efforts”.

“We want to thank you again so much for your continued support,” the Bad Moms and Family Guy star added Thursday. “Please don’t stop donating, either to us or to other amazing foundations. This is just the beginning of a very, very long journey.”

They also tapped vacation rental company Airbnb, in which Kutcher was an early investor, to provide free short-term housing for Ukrainian refugees.

The ongoing crisis, now in its 24th day, has displaced more than three million people from Ukraine. The United Nations has counted at least 726 people killed, including 52 children, since the start of the invasion. (UN officials acknowledge that the true number is likely much higher.)
