Miss Universe Puerto Rico welcomes Mardi Gras and Miss Universe Carnival holders to San Juan

San Juan, Puerto Rico, October 26, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Carnival Cruise Line’s Celebration Cruise After New Flagship Christening Mardi Gras last Saturday made its first stop with a call San Juan, Puerto Rico today. As part of the day’s festivities, the title Miss Universe, Porto Rico, Estefania Soto Torres and the future Miss Universe, Porto Rico, Michelle Colón hosted very special guests on her native island: Miss Universe Andrea Meza, Mardi Gras Godmother and Miss Universe, Dominican Republic, Kimberly Jiménez and Miss USA Asya Branch, as well as the president of Carnival Cruise Line Christine duffy.

Mardi Gras was christened during a “Universe of Fun” celebration on 23 october in Port Canaveral, Florida. The celebration marked the first ship christening ceremony held in the United States since the cruise industry restarted this summer. Godmother Jiménez blessed the ship in English and Spanish and activated the traditional champagne bottle breaking, officially naming the ship.
