Pingo Doce and Mercadão’s online shopping service is now available in Camacha, Santa Cruz Machico and Ribeira Brava.
This means that customers can place their orders through the fast delivery marketplace and receive them at home or, if they prefer, pick them up directly from the nearest Pingo Doce store that offers this service.
“Initially launched in Funchal and Caniço, this service has been very popular with Madeirans”, indicates a note from Mercadão sent to the editorial staff. The company believes that “with this expansion, residents of the new covered areas can now shop online with the utmost comfort, speed and convenience”.
To take advantage of this service, all you have to do is access the platform, select the desired products and choose the date and time of delivery. Purchases are handled by personal shoppers – Mercadão operators – who visit the Pingo Doce store and guarantee the quality of all products. Then they go to the given address and deliver the order at the agreed time. Payment for purchases is made online, and delivery costs are free for orders over 100 euros.
