Pre-book your Uber ride and earn 10% back in Uber Cash

Just in time for the holidays. Uber has announced that it is expanding its Uber Travel Product Worldwideafter debuting in North America last spring, allowing customers to earn 10% cash back in Uber Cash.

According to a Nov. 14 press release, Uber Travel enables customers to arrange hotel, flight and restaurant reservations by linking travel plans from Google, Outlook and Hotmail email accounts. In turn, customers can see all of their reservations in one place and book rides for their entire itinerary “in one go with Uber Reserve.”

And, Uber added that every ride through Uber Travel earns 10% Uber Cash on rides or Eats orders.

Uber Travel is available in more than 10,000 cities worldwide, including all major US and Canadian cities, according to the release.

Other features of the program include automatic route adjustment if the flight changes, Uber said.

And if the flight is delayed or canceled and you’ve already booked a ride, if you’re picked up at an airport, “Uber will automatically adjust your pick-up time or cancel your reservation. If you’re dropped off at an airport, you will have the option to rebook your Reserve rides in the Uber app.

As part of its vacation announcements, Uber also said it has partnered with Viator and OpenTable to bring more tourist attractions, events and restaurants to Uber Explore, allowing customers to book activities.

Finally, Uber also announced its “Holiday Shop,” a “one-stop-shop” for holiday must-haves from major retailers like Walgreens, Albertsons, Total Wine and thousands more, delivered straight to your door in a snap. “, according to the press release.
