Rolls-Royce delivers 1,000th BR725 engine to Gulfstream

Rolls-Royce has delivered the 1,000th BR725 engine to customer Gulfstream Aerospace Corp.
The flagship engine, developed and assembled at the company’s business aviation headquarters in Dahlewitz, Germany, was shipped to Gulfstream in Savannah, Georgia, USA.
Dr Jörg Au, Chief Business Aviation Engineer at Rolls-Royce, said: “The BR725 engine is the pinnacle of engineering excellence, having accumulated nearly 1.5 million engine flight hours. over the past decade, while setting new benchmarks in reliability and performance. Reaching the incredible milestone of delivering the 1,000th engine is a momentous occasion for Rolls-Royce and Gulfstream, and I couldn’t be prouder of the amazing team behind this product. Technician works on a Rolls-Royce engine
The BR725 engine exclusively powers Gulfstream’s Gulfstream G650 and Gulfstream G650ER ultra-long-range business jets.
The G650 family of aircraft powered by BR725 engines holds more than 120 world speed records, including the furthest and fastest flight in business aviation history.
With more than 500 aircraft in service, the G650ER and its sister aircraft, the G650, are among the most reliable business jets in the world.
Dr. Dirk Geisinger, Director of Business Aviation at Rolls-Royce, said: “The delivery of 1,000 BR725 engines to Gulfstream is further proof of our leadership position in the business aviation market. . Our partnership with Gulfstream, which began some sixty years ago, is a real success and will continue in the future with the Pearl 700, which equips the Gulfstream G700 and the Gulfstream G800.
