Seth Rogen is hosting Airbnb stays next month in Los Angeles and plans to make pottery with his guests

If you’re a true fan of the actor, you know he takes his creative pursuits beyond the screen and into the ceramic studio with his company, House plant, a brand specializing in beautiful cannabis accessories and homewares. Now he invites a guest and his chosen one plus one to spend a night at an arts retreat in Los Angeles. And yes, he will be there to greet you – and throw pots with you.
“We founded Houseplant because people who smoke weed also like pretty things, and it didn’t really exist that way before,” Rogen said. Travel + Leisure exclusively. “You used to hide everything, but now we have beautiful lighters and ashtrays for display, and they are all in this beautiful Airbnb. The circle is really complete.
The Airbnb retreat features a ceramic studio filled with pottery from Rogen, as well as mid-century furniture, lots of plants, and stunning views of Los Angeles from floor-to-ceiling windows, all meant to inspire a creative stay.
“This is a truly unique Airbnb to relax and feel inspired. Depending on the time of day, there’s a distinct sativa, hybrid, and indica vibe in different parts of the house that felt authentically Houseplant and authentically me,” Rogen said. “We took a lot of the fun and amazing style of Houseplant and turned it into a creative retreat with Airbnb where you can actually spend the night. The view is truly amazing. Sitting in a chair with an ashtray by your side, facing Los Angeles, is a great way to spend an afternoon.
Rogen will organize three one-night stays (February 15, 16 and 17), each for two people. Stays will cost $42. An Airbnb spokesperson added that the home rental company will also make a one-time donation to Hilarity for charityan association whose goal is to take care of families affected by Alzheimer’s disease, as part of the stay.
The stay includes time in the pottery studio with Rogen, a selection of vinyl records curated by Rogen and Evan Goldberg, including Houseplant recordsand a well-stocked refrigerator for those late-night cravings.
As for how he would spend the stay as a guest, Rogen said, “I would wake up and start the day enjoying the surroundings and my favorite pastime…pottery! There’s a pool with a deck that overlooks all of Los Angeles, and it’s perfect for a relaxing morning coffee. Rogen added that the house is a “great place to reflect, get inspired and make fun creations. The walls are covered with products from Houseplant, as well as my own homemade ceramics, which can help spark creativity.
