An unusual Airbnb is available to rent in Glasgow’s West End for £1,200 a month – but there’s a catch.

The little Airbnb includes the usual facilities such as a bathroom, kitchen, fridge, microwave, TV and hairdryer – but although it is available for long-term stays, there is no has no washing machine.

The description reads: “Set in the leafy West End of Glasgow.

“The location is perfect for visiting Glasgow, within walking distance of Byres Road and the University, close to the Botanical Gardens and with Hillhead tube nearby to get to the city centre.

The easiest way to get there is from Horselethill Road and the studio is just 100 yards on the left on Belhaven Terrace Lane.

He continues: “We have transformed our garage into a unique studio apartment that sleeps 4, with a standard double bed and a double sofa bed, all in an open plan space.

“There is a full bathroom with a hydromassage shower.

“Please keep in mind it’s a small space so it would be comfortable if 4 adults were staying but it’s ok for one family.

“If you require linen for the sofa bed an additional £20 charge applies, please let us know at time of booking if you require this.

“There are lots of good bus connections and it’s ideal to walk to lots of great places in 15 minutes.

“There is no private parking but 100 meters from the establishment you can park for free on Kirklee Road.”
