Soho House Rome is a quintessential slice of Italian style

Recently opened in the city’s San Lorenzo district – and the group’s first outpost in Italy – Soho House Rome offers an effortless Italian atmosphere.

Members can soak up city views from the balconies that wrap around the building’s facade or retreat to one of the many deep sofas or bath chairs that dot the common areas of its clubhouse lounge.

Soho House’s in-house design team delivered Italian style in spades, with exaggerated shapes, glossy furnishings, and a cool color palette ranging from burgundy and sage to mustard yellow and rich royal blue. There are also some maximalist flirtations via eye-catching patterns in curved banquettes covered in loaded textiles, and a mural of faces and hands in contrasting colors.

Members can have a snack at the catering bar on the ground floor, before going to one of the building’s 49 rooms or the 20 long-stay apartments. As you’d expect from Soho House, the best views of Rome are from its rooftop terrace, which has an exclusive pool and, of course, a pizza oven.
