Stephanie Sudarin Sin, of San Francisco, Calif., rents Airbnb and sends Uber to pick up boy from Novi, Michigan – CONAN Daily

Stephanie Sudarin Sin, 32, was born and raised in San Francisco, California, USA. In 2021, she met a boy, then 14 years old, from Novi, Oakland County, Michigan, USA on an application.

From the app, the conversation between Sin and the boy has shifted to texts and increasingly explicit, according to Novi Police Station. After communicating by text message for a year, she reportedly came from California to meet him.


On April 10, 2022, Sin rented a Airbnb In Royal Oak, Oakland County, Michigan for a month and allegedly tried to convince the boy to meet her there for sex. When she sent a Uber at the boy’s house in Novi, he got scared and told his parents, who called the Novi Police Department.

Shortly after, officers from the Novi Police Department arrested Sin. She is detained in the Oakland County Jail in Pontiac, Oakland County, Michigan, on bail or bond of $100,000.

Sin was charged with one count of child sexual abuse and one count of using a computer to commit a felony. Both charges are 20-year felonies.

At 9:00 a.m. on April 20, 2022, Sin will appear in court for a probable cause conference. She doesn’t have a lawyer yet.

Airbnb and Uber are headquartered in San Francisco. The companies were founded in August 2008 and March 2009, respectively.
