Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on February 24, the world has watched the horrors of war unfold in the present day in 2022. Watch the tragedies unfold in Ukraine while scrolling through your phone on the train, in watching the news on your couch or listening to your way of working while you go about your daily life can make you feel extremely helpless.

But there are a number of things that you can do to help, whether it’s signing petitions (like this one for close the airspace above the country), or by making a donation to one of the many organizations that help with humanitarian relief. Even the smallest effort can make a difference if we all come together. Check out our list below of ways you can help today.

Show up at rallies and events

A powerful way to show your support is to show up at local rallies and events. The world has moved in extreme numbers to support Ukraine and call for peace. cities like new York, Toronto, Berlin and London are among the thousands hosting events each week. It’s a great way to show solidarity and support Ukrainians in your community as well as those on the front lines.

Make a donation

1.3 million Ukrainians have fled since the attack began, and this number is expected to increase dramatically. If you would like to make a direct monetary donation to relief efforts in Ukraine and to refugees, the organizations below are great resources.

          Stay informed and spread information

          Silence is powerful, it’s important to use your voice to show your support. Keep up to date with the situation and use your social networks to spread factual information.
