The Byers House from Stranger Things will soon be available on Airbnb

Have you ever imagined a stay in the iconic Hawkins house of Joyce Byers? You’re in luck… The Byers House of stranger things is being transformed into Airbnb.

TMZ reported that the famous house, which features in the first three seasons of the Netflix series, is set to be transformed into a nighttime experience that fans can actually stay in.

Speaking with the outlet, Katie Siplon of Real Estate TriCounty said the home, which sits on 6 acres of land and spans just over 1,800 square feet, was immediately bought by one of her clients – she only spent a week on the free market.

According to TMZ, the new owner of the Fayetteville, Georgia property is an investor and made a cash offer on the home, paying $300,000 more than the asking price. Siplon also told the outlet that the buyer intended to recreate the Byers’ “T-shaped” home, as well as transform some of the rooms to look like inside out.

They also confirmed that they plan to recreate other memorable locations and scenes from the hit Netflix show.

This is not the first time that a stranger things property has been converted into a vacation rental home. The Byers’ California home from Season 4, which is actually located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is currently available for hire on Airbnb.

Accommodating up to 14 people, the spacious New Mexico abode features 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and stunning mountain views. To keep it “as authentic as possible,” the house features retro ’70s and ’80s decor, with many pieces that appeared on the show.

While there’s no set date for Byers’ Hawkins House to officially open and for fans to book an Airbnb stay, the owner intends to “get something working by Halloween.” ” (sure). The sale is expected to close in mid-October.
