Holiday destinations with big price changes

Thanks to the strength of the pound against many currencies, Britons traveling abroad are likely to get more for their money in around half of the destinations surveyed this year. In particular, prices fell 15.4% year-on-year in Corfu, Greece, 11.8% in Phuket, Thailand and 6.5% in Darwin, Australia.

However, vacationers should also bear in mind that some destinations have become significantly more expensive. In Sri Lanka, prices were up more than a quarter year-on-year, while in Cancun, Mexico, they were up 22%.
