The ‘Good Bones’ house rehabilitated by Mina Starsiak Hawk and Karen E Laine goes up for sale

If you are a fan of Good bones and want some of that home improvement magic for yourself, now is your chance. A house that was featured in season 3 of Good bones is on the market in the Near Northside neighborhood of Indianapolis. Of course, the house goes for a pretty dime.

Beaumont Company reported that a house renovated by Good bones stars Mina Starsiak Hawk and Karen Laine are in the market. The outlet reported that the residence, which includes three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, was listed by Shane Burns of the Victory Realty team. The 3,404 square foot property was built in 1914 and is currently listed at $ 410,000. Burns, who is not only the agent who put the property up for sale but also the seller, is expected to make a profit on the sale of the house, as he bought it for $ 292,566 in 2019.

The agent spoke of the property’s connection to the Good bones stars while chatting with Beaumont Company. Burns explained, “It was in ruins. They did a complete renovation.” The seller shared that he took a page from Hawk and Laine’s own book by converting the attic into a living space. He said of his own renovation project: “Now it has more living space than when I bought it. “

Burns’ sales pitch for the property didn’t stop there. He mentioned that the location in which the house resides is a “hot real estate zone” and added that a hospital is being built just down the road. Burns suggested the house could be a great outlet for someone looking to turn it into an Airbnb due to the connection to HGTV stars and the size of the property (he mentioned that it can sleep eight to ten. people).

Good bones fans may remember when Hawk and Laine worked on the residence. The house was featured in the 13th episode of Season 3, “Budget-Busting Victorian,” in 2018. The episode served as season 3 finale. Laine and Hawk were commissioned to design an open floor plan while trying to preserve the historic elements of the house. Obviously, they were able to bring their vision to life, and one lucky person will very soon be able to call the residence their home away from home.
