The original Home Alone house is available to rent on Airbnb for just $25
Don’t just watch Home Alone this Christmas – to stay home instead.
This holiday season, four fans of the big festive franchise can rent the McCallisters’ original home for a night.
Even more exciting, Buzz McCallister will welcome those staying home from Chicago, following the release of Home Sweet Home Alone, a new holiday movie now airing on Disney+.
“You might not remember me as particularly accommodating,” Buzz said, “but I’ve grown up and would be happy to share my family home — my pizza, even — with you over the holidays.
“Just try not to let go of my tarantula, Axl, this time.”
One night stay will be on December 12 for the low cost of $25.
During their stay, guests will enjoy a cozy holiday scene with twinkling lights and a huge tree to celebrate the season, Chicago pizza, Kraft microwavable macaroni and cheese, and 90s music playing. .
They’ll also have the chance to trigger traps and play with aftershave to react this classic moment, meet a real tarantula, watch the new Home Sweet Home movie and walk away with a LEGO Home Alone set.
It’s quite an experience – the organizers anticipate that many candidates will try their luck.
“We may all be older and wiser now, but we’re never too old for holiday hijinks,” Buzz said. “So this year, spend the holidays not so alone at home with my parents.”
As it is the season for giving, Airbnb will make a donation to La Rabida Children’s Hospital in Chicago, which helps improve the quality of life for each of its patients.
those who hope delivered can apply for the property starting Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. CT.
Airbnb is monitoring Chicago covid infection rates and government policies, and will therefore offer guests booking a $1,000 Airbnb travel credit if it becomes necessary to cancel the stay.
