These are the best and cleanest laundromats in Kalamazoo

Having clean clothes is extremely important in life, whether you wash your hands, have a washer and dryer at home, or go to the laundromat, you are doing something to have clean clothes. I know there are a handful around town simply because they’ve lived here so long and pass them by so often. I know of laundromats on all sides of town, including downtown, except for the north side. I might be crazy, but I don’t think the north side of Kalamazoo has a laundromat.

Personally, I have never used a laundromat, the closest thing to it so far in life is the common laundry services in college and phew, let me tell you… 0/ 10, I do not recommend it. Most people leave their clothes longer than the cycle takes, they are never well cared for, and many other issues, but on another note, there are people looking for places to wash their clothes.

A post on Reddit by a user (KzooBeerGirl), which you can see below, asks the people of Kalamazoo to help her find the cleanest laundromats in the Kalamazoo area. The original poster wasn’t looking to wash her and possibly her family’s clothes, but rather wash the comforter on her California King Bed. Nevertheless, the responses poured in.

love of laundromat

Most of the answers that came up were from local laundromats that I used to go through a few times but never had to stop and use. The most common answer was the Finish Line laundromat on Gull Road, as well as the Stadium Discount coin launderette on Stadium Drive, the Cork Street laundry and even the Ye Old Central laundromat on Wednestnedge in the centre- town. There was also a Vicksburg laundromat that wasn’t mentioned by name but had a good reputation.

Private Paris

Paris Cleaners was the only dry cleaner to make the list, but people gave it a great reputation. Their only complaint was that the attendant who was at the front desk that day wasn’t the most helpful but it was the cleanest and least busy. They also use a reloadable card system to pay for their machines and services, which seems to be becoming the industry standard.

Did they forget to mention which one you think is the best? Are there any other laundromats in the Kalamazoo area that are worth washing your stuff?
