The Arizona desert is known for its huge skies and dark, starry nights. So what better place to sleep under the stars in the middle of the desert than under a giant, translucent dome?

Located 40 minutes north of Williams and 35 minutes from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, this Arizona Airbnb is perfectly located for a northern Arizona getaway. The vacation rental sits on a secluded one acre lot on a dirt road. Far from the city lights, the dark sky is fully visible above your bed as you admire the universe in a bubble.

The living space is simple, with two chairs and a queen-size bed. The vacation rental is prepared for the cold desert night with a duvet, blankets and heated mattress topper. Comfortable!

Although the main attraction is the night sky, don’t overlook the daylight scenery and the incredible desert sunset at your fingertips.

By day, the bubble basks in the blue skies of the Arizona sun. At night, the sky is filled with millions of stars above your head. The pictures don’t do the experience justice!

An outdoor bathroom is equipped with a fully functional sink, shower and toilet. However, keep in mind the extreme desert temperatures throughout the year! During the winter, the sink and shower are closed to prevent freezing.

The property has two identical bubble domes, though you’ll still feel the privacy of the Arizona high desert. The outdoor bathroom is shared between the two domes. Each unit has its own fireplace.

Although the location seems remote (and it is), the property manager only lives three miles away if you need immediate assistance. There are security cameras for an extra level of security.
