Tiny home maker ESCAPE Homes has unveiled the first limited-edition custom design for its new all-electric Mid-Century Modern Tiny Home called GETAWAY N2.
Features of the ESCAPE N2 Tiny House
Inspired by modernist architect Richard Neutra, ESCAPE N2 is a smaller, portable version of ESCAPE N1 and is designed specifically for the upcoming expansion of ESCAPE Tampa Bay Village.
With less than 400 square feet of living space, this “smart” tiny home has a one-story design that includes voice-activated lights and temperature control. It’s built with a steel roof that comes with a 40-year warranty and a maple composite floor that looks so clean.
ESCAPE N2 features a clean steel exterior, a porch with a doorbell, and a 20 foot wall of glass doors that open, including into the private bedroom. In addition to the hospitality-grade Serta Perfect Sleeper built-in queen-size bed with bedside cabinets, the bedroom is also furnished with designer honeycomb blinds, double-height closets, under-bed drawers, USB outlets, windows that open and a large shelf.
The kitchen has a smartphone-controlled stove with an electric cooktop and a convection oven that doubles as an air fryer. All appliances in the kitchen are Energy Star branded and include a stainless steel dishwasher, vent M/W and a large stainless steel fridge/freezer with an ice maker. There is also a deep stainless steel sink with a designer faucet and custom white cabinets and shelves, which gives the kitchen a clean and organized look.
ESCAPE N2 also features a full size bathroom with a full frosted light door, 60 inch tile shower, stone vanity with designer faucet and Toto toilet. The bathroom is fitted with a low sohn exhaust fan, large mirror, LED lighting, linen closet, towel rack, storage cabinet and drawers .
The living room, meanwhile, features a large sectional sofa, a huge wall of opening windows, a book shelf, LED lighting and a Smart TV. There is also a laundry center with washer/dryer and folding area.
“ESCAPE N2 is perfect for all sorts of uses, including a private personal hideaway, Airbnb or rental unit, or a separate guest house or ADU,” ESCAPE Homes founder Dan Dobrowolski told About the Limited Edition Little House.
Availability of the ESCAPE N2 mini-house
Citing ESCAPE Homes’ penchant for playing with architecture, Dobrowolski said the company “will only build a few ‘ESCAPE N2s’ over the course of the year and each will be a little different.”
