This stunning new Japanese-Nordic-inspired Airbnb near Toronto sits on stilts in a forest

The building is perched above ground on stilts and is surrounded by a forest and a flowing river. Huge floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the landscape, and you can enjoy views of the woods from every room (the guest bedroom has a smaller window).

The Airbnb “honours simplicity, good company, sustainability and all things hygge”. You’ll find a modern, minimalist aesthetic throughout the space. The house was designed for rest and relaxation in contrast to the bustle of a big city like Toronto.
