Tiny Texas Hill Country Airbnb is the Perfect Retreat

Here’s a fun little getaway in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.

I love the Hill Country. It’s my favorite vacation destination here in Texas. The countryside is beautiful and there are countless things to do.

And one thing I like to do is just go somewhere and relax. Disconnect from the world, put on some music and breathe in the fresh air.

So I was thrilled when I found out this little house which is nestled on three wooded acres just outside of beautiful Austin in Wimberly. It looks like the perfect place for a couple to get away and relax.

The tiny house, known as La Petite, was built by a local high school student in nearby Fredericksburg and his designer/builder father completely from the ground up for his senior project. Hosts Jennifer and Gregory eventually bought it and moved it to where it is now.

La Petite is made for those who like to mix nature outings with modern life.

It has a fully equipped kitchen, smart TV, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth speaker and private bathroom inside.

Outside, you’ll find a two-level wraparound deck with a hot tub, covered patio with two hammock chairs, patio furniture, outdoor shower, and charcoal grill.

Of all, the best part for me is that it’s completely surrounded by woods, making it the perfect destination for anyone just looking to get out and enjoy some peace and quiet for a few days.
